A house with a Mozart story
The history of our building goes back centuries. Parts of the house preserve historic fabric dating from the 16th century, and the address also has a special connection with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
From mid-October to December 1762, the six-year-old Mozart stayed here together with his father Leopold and his sister Maria Anna “Nannerl” Mozart in the private home of Gottlieb Friedrich Fischer. In summer 1773, Mozart returned to Tiefer Graben 18 during another stay in Vienna.
The building was not yet a hotel in Mozart's time. The Mozart connection relates to the historic building and location where Boutique Hotel Das Tigra stands today.

In the heart of Vienna
Boutique Hotel Das Tigra is located on Tiefer Graben in Vienna's 1st district, right in the historic city centre. Many of Vienna's best-known sights can be reached on foot, including St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Hofburg Palace, Graben, Kohlmarkt, the Vienna State Opera, museums, cafés and restaurants.
Herrengasse underground station on line U3 is only a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Stephansplatz and Schottentor can also be reached comfortably on foot.

For smaller events and meetings, Boutique Hotel Das Tigra offers a daylight meeting room for up to 24 persons. A Business Suite is also available for smaller meetings of approximately six persons.
